Actor Pavan Kalyan files divorce petition
Visakhapatnam, Aug 12 (UNI) The noted film star and younger brother of Chirenjeevi, Pavan Kalyan and his wife Nandini today filed advance petitions in the district family court seeking divorce.
According to the district family court, judge L Durga Prasad took the petitions filed by Pavan Kalian and the one seeking maintenance filed by his estranged wife Nandini.
Both of them appeared before the court and filed the petitions, the judge announced and granted them divorce.
Earlier, Nandini had obtained a stay from the High Court after her petition alleging that Pavan Kalian had resorted to bigamy was dismissed by the first additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate here on Febuary 25 this year. Then, Pavan filed a petition in the family court here seeking divorce from Nandini while she sought a monthly maintenance allowance of Rs 5 lakh in the interim petition.
But the petition was dismissed by the family court and she obtained a stay from the High Court on this order.
