Abandoned suitcase creates flutter

Karur, Aug 12 (UNI) A suitcase, found abandoned near a place of worship at suburban Venkamedu here, created tension among local residents today.

A passer-by, who noticed the suitcase, immediately alerted the police.

Police, along with the Bomb Disposal Squad, rushed to the spot and inspected the suitcase.

However, no explosives were found inside, police said.
