3 held with opium worth Rs 1 cr
New Delhi, Aug 12 (UNI) The Delhi Police have arrested three drug traffickers, including two women, from Outer Delhi area and seized 10.2 kg opium, valued at about Rs one crore in the international market, from them.
Santosh Rani, 45, and her son Rishi (23) were arrested by a team of Narcotics Branch from Bhalaswa Dairy on the Outer Ring Road when they had come to deliver the Opium consignment to 55-year-old Gurmeet Kaur.
All the three were arrested and the contraband seized from their possession. A case under the NDPS Act was registered against the three.
In another incident, the police arrested one person from East Delhi's Seelampur area and recovered 200 gm smack, valued at Rs 20 lakh in the international market, from him.
