Tea vendor tries self immolation in UP

Lucknow, Aug 11: Tension ran high after a tea vendor tried to immolate himself in front of residence of a ruling Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) MLA O P Singh here.

Tea vendor Dinesh Kahar, tried to immolate himself after MLA from Sultanpur district O P Singh asked him to remove his tea shop in front of his residence at Motinagar under Naka police station.

According to police due to timely intervention of the people, Dinesh was saved and he was rushed to the Trauma centre with minor burn injury.
