Reference rate fixed at Rs 42.00 per US Dollar
Mumbai, Aug 11 (UNI) The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) today fixed the reference rate for US dollar at Rs 42.00 per unit, down by 20 paise, against Friday's rate of Rs 42.20 per dollar.
The reference rate for Euro was quoted down by Re one and 45 paise at Rs 62.82 per unit, against Friday's rate of Rs 64.27.
The exchange rates for Pound and Japanese Yen against the Rupee were quoted down at Rs 80.4720 (81.4861) per Pound and Rs 38.15 (38.47) per 100 units respectively, data received from RBI said.
