No curfew passes for media persons in Kashmir

Srinagar, Aug 11 (UNI) Media persons, representing local, national and International organisations remained confined in their houses or offices as no curfew pass was issued to them by the authorities.

The curfew passes could not be issued tonight and the authorities would consider it tomorrow morning, officials said.

An indefinite curfew was imposed in Srinagar and other towns in the Kashmir valley following widespread protests and violence throughout the day at different places.

A number of media persons had to remain confine in their offices without any food.
