Mother, son die from snake bite

Kendrapara, Aug 11 (UNI) A mother and her nine- month-old son have died from snakebite in Petachela village under Barakanda Gram Panchayat of Mahakalapada block in Kendrapara district.

Mahakalapada police station Officer-in-Charge R R Sahu today said a viper snake had bitten both of them last night while they were asleep.

The mother(20) and her son were rushed to the District Head Quarters Hospital, Kendrapara, but they died on their way.
