Mayawati's heir backlash: LJP terms injustice to dalits
Varanasi, Aug 11 (UNI) The Lok Janashakti Party (LJP) today lambasted Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mayawati for doing injustice with 'Dalits' by electing a person from the 'Chamar' community as her heir.
Ms Mayawati has in a way ditched the dalit community by her decision, which came as a surprise in a massive rally in Lucknow on August nine, LJP state unit president Rakesh Chandra Pasi said here.
The CM has disappointed the community that always supported her and made her rule UP four times, he alleged.
''Ms Mayawati is unable to handle the law and order in the state, but day-dreaming to become the Indian Prime Minister,'' the LJP leader alleged.
