Madrasa teacher held for assulting student
Kasargod, Kerala, Aug 11: Police arrested a madrasa school teacher for allegedly assaulting sexually a fifth standard student at Bedagam in this border district.
Police said Moonnamkadavu Madrasa teacher Ayub (28), a native of Kolathur in Malappuram district was arrested for assaulting his student after luring her to his room, adjacent to the school on the pretext of verifying hernote book yesterday.
The girl, in a serious condition, was admitted to Pariyaram Medical College, the police added.
