Southwest was vigorous over Interior Karnataka and active over Coastal Karnataka.
Rainfall occurred at most places over Coastal Karnataka and North Interior Karnataka and at many places over South Interior Karnataka.

Very Heavy Rainfall amounts (cm): Koppa 19; Jayapura 18; Yellapura, Sringeri, Kammardi 17 each; Siddapura, Jagalbet, Bhagamandala, Thirthahalli, Kalasa 16 each; Kollur, Gerusoppa, Linganamakki, Mudigere 14 each; Ankola, Talaguppa, Hosanagar 13 each.
Heavy Rainfall amounts (cm): Dharmasthala, Bhatkal, Shirali, Karwar, Manchikere, Joida, Khanapur 12 each; Kota, Honavar, Humchadakatte, Balehonnur 11 each; Belthangadi, Karkala, Kundapur 10 each; Sulya, Banavasi, N.R.Pura, Lakkavalli 9 each; Mani, Puttur, Sirsi, Haliyal, Belgaum, Dharwad 8 each; Mudibidre, Subramanya, Chikodi, Hubli, Madikeri, Madapura, Sagar, Tarikere 7 each.
Other Chief amounts of rainfall (cm): Panambur, Bajpe, Kiravatti, Sambre, Virajpet, Somwarpet, Soraba 6 each; Bantwal,Kalghatgi, Bhadravathi, Ajjampura 5 each; Mangalore, Mulki, Hangal, Hirekerur, Shikaripur 4 each.
Forecast valid until Wednesday morning: Rain/ thundershowers likely to occur at most places over Coastal Karnataka and at many places over Interior Karnataka.
Farmers Weather Bulletin: Moderate to rather heavy rain likely to occur at most places over all the districts of Coastal Karnataka and over Kodagu, Shimoga, Chikmagalur and Hassan districts of South Interior Karnataka. Light to moderate rain likely to occur at many places over remaining districts of South Interior Karnataka and all the districts of North Interior Karnataka.
Heavy Rainfall Warning: Heavy rain likely to occur at a few places with isolated very heavy falls over Coastal Karnataka and ghat areas of South Interior Karnataka during next 48 hours. Heavy rain also likely to occur at isolated places over remaining parts of the State during the same period.
FISHRIES WARNING: Strong onshore winds from westerly direction speed occasionally reaching 45 to 55 kmph likely along off Karnataka coast during the 24 hours.
