Justice Tirath Singh Thakur sworn in as High Court CJ
Chandigarh, Aug 11 (UNI) Mr Tirath Singh Thakur was sworn in as the Chief Justice of the Punjab and Haryana High Court here today.
Justice Thakur was administered the oath of allegience to the Constitution by Haryana Governor A R Kidwai.
Punjab Governor Lt Gen (retd) S F Rodrigues, Union Minister of state for Finance Pawan Kumar Bansal, Punjab and Haryana Chief Ministers Parkash Singh Badal and Bhupender Singh Hooda, respectively, were also present on the occasion along with top officials of both the states.
