HC stays reversion of HCS officers

Chandiarh, Aug 11 (UNI) The Punjab and Haryana High Court today stayed till further orders the reversion of Suresh Kumar Chahal and 13 other Haryana Civil Service (HCS) officers who were promoted to this coveted service during the previous INLD regime from the posts of Naib Tehsildars and others.

The stay orders were passed by a Division Bench of Justice M M Kumar and Justice Jitendra Chauhan.

The Bench has also issued notice for August 14 to the Haryana government to file its reply in the matter.
