Groundnutseed, its oil and RBD Palmolein flat

Mumbai, Aug 11 (UNI) Prices of groundnutseed, its oil and RBD Palmolein remained flat today on scattered buying from stockists, traders at the Bombay Commodity Exchange said.

In oil (10 kgs), castor comm declined by Rs 2 per 10 kgs.

Rapeseed Ref and rapeseed exp were also down by Rs 10 and Rs 23 per 10 kgs respectively on poor offtake.

However, groundnut oil and RBD palm oil remained flat on scattered buying from stockists, traders said.

Among seeds (per quintal), javas 60/70 and javas 80/90 rose by Rs 85 and Rs 75 per quintal respectively on fresh demand by bulk consumers. Castorseed Bombay eased by Rs 10 per quintal on sluggish demand by industrial users.

However, groundnutseed remained unchanged.

In De-oiled cakes, castor extr and soyameal 48 percent was down by Rs 300 and Rs 500 per metric tonne respectively on sustained heavy selling pressure by stockists, traders added.
