Goa govt cautions against hand, foot, mouth disease in Goa

Panaji, Aug 11 (UNI) Goa government today cautioned the citizens against outbreak of hand, foot and mouth disease among infants and children in some parts of Goa.

Citizens have been advised to observe strict hygienic practices to check the viral contagious disorder with no specific treatment available, according to an official release here.

The infection is marked with fever, blisters and sores in the mouth, including on tongue, gums and inside cheeks, besides hands and feet, without itching, the release added.
