Dhoni fets Abhinav Bindra

Bangalore, Aug 11 (UNI) One-day cricket captain M S Dhoni today felicitated ace shooter Abhinav Bindra who won gold in Beijing Olympics.

Describing Bindra's feat as ''Olympic gold is the best thing that could have happened to Indian sports,'' he said adding it was a moment of pride to all Indians.

''As a sportsman I cannot praise the efforts put up by the shooter any better. It takes lot of grit and continuous hardwork.

I am feeling very happy for Bindra,'' Dhoni said today.

The wicket-keeper batsman is in the city to attend the two-day fitness camp for the Sri Lanka-bound ODI players. The five-match series begins in Colombo on August 18.
