Bullion contracts gain

Mumbai, Aug 11 (UNI) Gold October 08 contract gained 0.41 pc to Rs 11,889 per 10 grams and Gold November 08 contract was up 0.67 pc to Rs 12,000 per 10 grams, at the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) today.

Silver December 08 contract rose by 0.39 pc to Rs 22,205 per kg, Platinum September 08 contract closed at Rs 22150 per 10 grams, unchanged from its previous level.

Copper November 08 contract was down 0.37 pc to Rs 310.25 per kg, lead October 08 contract fell 5.66 pc to Rs 85.80 per kg and nickel October 08 contract eased by 1.04 pc to Rs 778.60 per kg.

Aluminum September 08 contract was up by 0.21 pc to Rs 120.40 per kg and zinc October 08 contract rose by 0.13 pc to Rs 74.25 per kg.

Crude oil August 08 contract rose by 1.26 pc to Rs 4900 per barrel.

Cardamom August 08 contract was up by 1.83 pc to Rs 710 per kg.

coriander September 08 contract fell by 3.91 pc to Rs 9714 per quintal. Jute August 08 contract was down by 0.92 pc to Rs 1613 per quintal.

Lead October 08 contract fell by 5.66 pc to Rs 85.80 per kg, a MCX release said.
