Airtel to Pilot XIUS-bcgi'sEnd-to-End Mobile Transaction platform

Hyderabad, Aug 11,(UNI) XIUS-bcgi, the telecom division of Megasoft Limited, a leader in delivering innovative telecom solutions for mobile operators and MVNOs worldwide today announced the launch of its eCogNito solution, an end-to-end mobile transaction platform.

This launch will be offered as a pilot to Bharti Airtel, India's leading integrated telecom company, under a memorandum of understanding signed between the two companies, a Bharati Airtel release said.

"Our eCogNito solution offers Mobile Network Operators a quantum leap in operational efficiency of their revenue assurance systems by providing anytime, anywhere electronic talk time charging and bill payment in self service mode," according to Sunny DeWakar, president of XIUS-bcgi's eCogNito division.

"Additionally, it simplifies and speeds up day-to-day mobile transactions and is an ideal replacement for smart cards that are currently being used for different applications." "We have generated early interest with the current launch of our mobile commerce service in India, and we already have more than 260,000 customers signed up," according to MR Pallab Mitra, head of m-Commerce, Bharti Airtel.

"We believe that the solutions being offered by XIUS-bcgi will improve the ease of use and accessibility of new products and services that we plan to offer with our m-commerce initiatives," he said.
