AIDWA holds demo to fulfill demands

Puducherry, Aug 11: Volunteers of the All India Democratic Women's Association (AIDWA) on Monday, Aug 11 held a demonstration in front of the Puducherry Legislative Assembly to press their demands.

They were demanding among other things, the immediate introduction of the Domestic Violence Act in the union territory.

Earlier, the volunteers took out a procession from the old bus stand to the Legislative Assembly.
