3 dead in UP road accident

Fatehpur, Aug 11: Altogether three people were killed after a speeding jeep rammed into a stationary truck in the Khaga area of the district.

The mishap occurred on Allahabad-Kanpur national highway near Purin village, where the jeep dashed against the truck, police said.

The deceased included driver Chedilal (40) and passengers Manoj (30) and Viabhav (8), all of Allahabad.

The bodies had been sent for autopsies.
