Shatabadi Express runs over two women

Ambala, Aug 10: Two women were killed and another was injured after they were run over by an train at the Jandli level crossing near Model Town in the city.

The three were crossing the tracks when they were run over by the Amritsar-Delhi Shatabadi Express.

The deceased were identified as Simran Sethi (25), a resident of sector 9 HUDA Colony and Sapna (32), a resident of Kartarnagar colony. The injured woman identified as Anita was admitted to the civil hospital.

The dead bodies after post mortem were handed over to their relatives.
