Four killed in lightning strike in Rohtas
Dehri-on-Sone, Aug 10 (UNI) Altogether four people, including two women, were killed while two others sustained injuries in a lightning strike under Kachwan police station in Rohtas district today.
Police said the mishap occurred when the victims took shelter in an abandoned hut during the rain. The lightning, which struck the hut, killed four people on the spot, and caused burn injuries to two others.
The victims were identified as Rampyare Chaudhary, his wife Laxmi Devi, Akashya Kumar and Kanchan Devi.
The injured were rushed to a local hospital, police added.
