Vijaya bank hikes despoit rates, revises PLR

Bangalore, Aug 9 (UNI) Vijaya Bank has launched a new 500-day deposit product offering an interest rate of 9.75 per cent.

Named 'V Utsav', the scheme is a festive offer from the Bank and in comes into immediate effect. The offer till would be open till October 31, a bank release said.

The bank also Benchmark Prime Lending Rate (BPLR) by 50 basis points to 14 per cent with effect from yesterday. The BPLR hike is not applicable to housing loans up to Rs 30 lakhs and education loan.
