Two killed in group clash in K'taka
Gulbarga, Aug 9 (UNI) Two persons were hacked to death while four others were injured when two groups clashed at Ganagapur in Afzalpur taluk in the district last night.
Police said the victims were attacked by their rival group with country made pistols, swords and knives. They first shot at them and then hacked them with swords.
The dead were identified as Sattappa (20) and Basavaraj (30). The bodies had been shifted to General hospital here while the injured were admitted to another hospital.
IGP K V Gagandeep and SP Devajyoti visited the spot.
A platoon of KSRP was deployed in the village to bring situation under control.
Previous enmity was said to be reason behind the attack, police said.
