Two killed, 23 injured in tempo accident in HP
Hamirpur, Aug 9 (UNI) Two people were killed and 23 others injured, when the tempo in which they were going for a pilgrimage rolled down into a deep gorge near Deyothsidh today.
According to police, all the pilgrims were from Ludhiana and were going to Deyothsidh, the seat of Baba Balaknath. The deceased were identified as Pawana Devi and Gagan Deep.
All the injured were rushed to Barsar Hospital. Three injured were stated to be critical.
Police have registered a case against the tempo driver who managed to escaped from the spot after the accident.
