Three get life term in murder case
Patna, Aug 9 (UNI) A fast track court here today awarded life imprisonment to three people in a murder case.
The court also slapped a fine of Rs 3,000 on each of the convicts.
Fast track court judge Ajit Kumar Sinha found guilty Uday Kahar, Arun Kumar and Krishna Yadav under Sections 302 and 34 of Indian Panal Code and 27 of Arms Act.
According to the charges, Surendra Yadav, a resident of Gardanibagh police station area of Patna town, was shot dead by the convicts on October 18, 2005.
The reason behind the killing was that the victim protested the extortion demand by the convicts from the local shopkeepers.
