Silver, Gold dipped on bullish advice

Mumbai, Aug 9: Value of silver and gold dipped today with silver sliding by Rs 725 per kg and gold by Rs 95 per ten gm on sluggish demand, traders at the Bombay Bullion Association (BBA) said.

Following were the closing rates of spot silver and gold: Silver (per kg) 999 fineness grade : Rs 22,310 (23,035) Gold (per 10 gm): Gold 99.5 purity standard mint : Rs 11,745 (11,840) Gold 99.9 purity pure gold : Rs 11,810 (11,905).
