No final decision on Chamalapur termal project: Minister
Shimoga, Aug 9 (UNI) Karnataka Power Minister K S Eshwarappa today clarified that the state government had not yet taken final decision on the setting up of a mega thermal power project at Chamalapur near Mysore, which had evoked strong protests from people.
Speaking at a function here he said that he will take a decision to withdraw the existing load shedding in the state within couple of days.
He said since two three days there is a good rainfall in the state. Situation has been improved considerably and this was expected to improve the power position in the state.
