MP govt allocates Rs 34.38 cr for Narmada-Kshipra link project
Ujjain, Aug 9 (UNI) The Madhya Pradesh government has allocated Rs 34.38 crore for the Narmada-Kshipra link project to bring water from Narmada river to the Kshipra river.
Preliminary survey and detailed project report would be prepared with this fund, former union minister Satyanarayan Jatia said yesterday, after inaugurating the water treatment plant at Badnagar.
The government was making serious efforts to solve water crisis in Malwa region and this link project would be a boon, he added.
