Mother attempts suicide after killing two daughters

Malappuram, Aug 9 (UNI) A woman attempted suicide by jumping into a well after allegedly killing her two daughters at Kozhichana near Kottakkal in the district today.

Police said Malayil Hayarunnisa, (28), who jumped into the well after allegedly killing Nadeera Farhat (7), a first standard student of Kochichana L P School and Nazia Farhat (3), was rescued and admitted to Kozhikode Medical College Hospital.

The exact cause of death of the children could be identified only after post-portem, police added.
