KPN Travels buses with toilets
Madurai, Aug 9: Leading south-India based private bus operator KPN Travels plans to introduce luxury coaches that will have improved onboard facilities, including toilet.
A pioneer in innovative models, KPN planned to operate luxury buses with bigger wheel base once the ongoing work on four laning of highways was completed. "It will be like flying on road. The buses will have all comforts such as fridge, toilet etc," company Managing Director K P Natarajan said. He said the four laning of the roads undertaken by the Centre under the National Highway Development Project would lead to a tremendous growth in the transport sector.
The four decade old company, which operates services in Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Kerala and Karnataka, also planned to have its own highway motels so that passengers need not wait for long time in motels for eatables or toilets, he said.
