JMM softens stance on CM issue
Jamshedpur, Aug 9 (UNI) Softening its earlier stance on change of guard in Jharkhand, ruling Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) today said party supremo Shibu Soren should be made the Chief Minister only through 'complete consensus'.
A day after several JMM leaders virtually issued ultimatum to Chief Minister Madhu Koda to step down for paving way for Mr Soren in a party programme here last night, senior party leader and deputy chief minister Sudhir Mahto told UNI here today that everyone should come along and reach a consensus among themselves to make Mr Soren the chief minister.
Claiming that Mr Soren was a unanimous leader of the ruling coalition in Jharkhand, Mr Mahto said everybody should reach a consensus on this issue.
