Ishmeet died due to drowning: viscera examination
Patiala, Aug 9 (UNI) The viscera examination of 'Voice of India 2007' winner Ishmeet Singh today revealed that his death was "simply a case of drowning".
The viscera examination of Ishmeet, who died in a swimming pool of a resort in Maldives on July 29, was conducted here at Government Medical College (GMC).
Dr Manjeet Singh Bal, head of the Pathology Department of GMC said that a team of four doctors, including him, conducted the viscera examination of Ishmeet's brain and a lung and found that he died due to drowning.
The post-mortem of Ishmeet's body conducted earlier at Ludhiana had showed that the 19-year-old singer died due to "asphyxia".
