Heavy rain likely in MP
Bhopal, Aug 9 (UNI) Even as most places in Madhya Pradesh are experiencing a wet spell, the Regional Meteorological Centre today expressed likelihood of heavy rain in the state's eastern part.
The state capital received drizzles during the day. It recorded 48.4 cm rain since June 1 and that is 16.1 cm below normal.
A low pressure area has formed over coastal Orissa besides upper air cyclonic circulation. Isolated downpours might take place in Jabalpur, Sagar and Rewa divisions over the next 48 hours. Overnight precipitation figures were Betul and Chachoura 5 cm each, Sidhi 4, Mandla and Nasrullaganj 3 each and Pachmarhi 2 cm.
