Fire breaks out in Bajaj Allianze Insurance office

Tirupati, August 9 (UNI) A major fire broke out in Bajaj Allainze Insurance's main office located at Central Park commercial complex in the temple town here today.

Station Fire Officer Srinivasa Reddy said the fire broke out on the third floor where the office is located. It was brought under control after an hour. The cause of the fire might be an electrical short circuit.

All the furniture, documents, computers and air conditioners were badly damaged in the fire.

Three fire service employees sustained minor injuries while entering through the glass windows to control the fire, he said.

The total worth of property destroyed in the fire was yet to be ascertained, he added.
