Congress workers take pledge to fight terrorism in country
Patna, Aug 9 (UNI) Bihar Pradesh Congress Committee (BPCC) president Sadanand Singh today administered the pledge to fight terrorism and other disruptive forces for keeping the unity and integrity of the country intact to his party workers.
Addressing a function organised here on the occasion, Mr Singh said terrorism and communalism were the greatest threats to unity and integrity of the country and should be fought by all sections of society.
''It is really a matter of pride for the party that freedom fighters forced the Britishers to quit the country and restore its independence through sustained struggle under the leadership of the Congress,'' he noted.
Congress had always been committed to development and prosperity of the nation without any compromise, he observed.
