Aided Pvt. school warned
Mysore, Aug 9 (UNI) The Mysore District Administration has warned aided private school managments against violation of Karnataka Education Act.
Addressing a meeting of representatives of the Aided Private School Managments here Deputy Commissioner P Manivannan said the district administration has taken serious note of the complaints against the aided private educational institutions and asked the school managments to stop irregularities within six months.
Criminal cases would be filed against such schools found violating the Act. Advertisements would be issued in newspapers announcing the closure of such schools in the district without notice, he warned.
He said Complaints regarding improper supply of text books, lapases in mid-day meals, collection of excess fees and irregular distribution of scholarships were being received at D C office and warned the managments of severe action.
Representatives of 75 school managements participated in the meeting.
