2 people shot dead; woman looted in UP
Lucknow, Aug 9 (UNI) Armed assailants shot dead two people in Bagpat district late last night, when they were returning to Delhi after visiting, Saharanpur, police said today.
The incident occurred in Badaut area, where Mahendra Kumar, along with daughter Pooja and son-in-law Amit, took a hault at Ganpati Vaishnav dhaba after visiting Shakumbhari Devi temple in Saharanpur.
The armed criminals fired upon Mahendra and Amit and robbed Pooja of jewellery and other valuables.
The duo succumbed on the spot.
A case has been registered and manhunt launched.
