Workshop on environmental problems inaugurated

Visakhapatnam, Aug 8 (UNI) Dr Nirmal Narinder Andrews, Chairman, National Environmental Appraisal Committee of Costal and Tourism, today said environmental parameters were strongly influenced by global, regional and national interests.

Inaugurating a one-day workshop on environmental problems here, he said global and national environmental issues should be identified and addressed through policy changes and public awaresness.

The programme was organised by the Cleaner Production Cell of the Andhra Pradesh Pollution Control Board.
