Tibetan protest against 'Chinese encroachment'on mother land

Hubli, Aug 8 (UNI) Hundreds of Tibetan activists from Mundgod Rehabilitation Centre for refugees near here today protested against the 'Chinese encroachment' of their mother-lamd and demanded freedom.

The protest was held few hours before the inaugural function of Olympic games at Beijing.

The activists shouted slogans against the Chinese Government for violating human rights and killing innocent Tibetans, who were observing non-violent struggle for freedom.

They also submitted a memorandum, seeking India's assistance in regaining their freedom.
