Panchkula to have several Poly-Clinics
Chandigarh, Aug 8 (UNI) In order to provide better health services to the residents of Panchkula, one Poly-Clinic in every four-five sectors would be opened.
Besides, Mobile Clinics would also be introduced to provide better health services to the people living in slums of Panchkula.
This was stated by Haryana Deputy Chief Minister Chander Mohan after reviewing the progress of various developmental works which were being carried out in district Panchkula in a meeting with the officers of various departments and Deputy Commissioner Panchkula R K Kataria here today.
Mr Chander Mohan said sewerage system would be laid at a cost of Rs six crore in Pinjore Municipal Committee. With a view to providing potable drinking water to the people of Kalka constituency, Water Supply and Sanitation department would set up 24 new tubewells, he added.
