Silver, gold falls: Bombay Bullion Association

Mumbai, Aug 7: Value of silver and gold eased further with silver declining by Rs 40 per kg and gold by Rs 20 per ten gm, on lack of fresh demand, traders at the Bombay Bullion Association (BBA) said.

Following were the closing rates of spot silver and gold: Silver (per kg) 999 fineness grade : Rs 23,950 (23,990) Gold (per 10 gm): Gold 99.5 purity standard mint : Rs 12,060 (12,080) Gold 99.9 purity pure gold : Rs 12,125 (12,150).
