Protest relay fast at more venues
Kannur, Aug 7 (UNI) A relay fast by the activists of Kerala Prohibition Council (KPC) against the liquor policy of the state government will be temperory stopped on August 9, after the completion of 100 days, KPC Statepresident Fr Thomas Thythottam said today.
He told newspersons here KPC will continue the relay fast in Malappuram infront of the District collectorate from Agugust 10.
After completion of 100 days, the relay fast would held in Kottayam, Ernakulam and Kozhikode, he added.
He said in Kannur more than 1000 activists had participated in the fast and 10,000 people from all fields visited the fast venue.
He alleged that the state government's attitude was disrespectful to democracy.
