Oriental Insurance and MyTVS launch emergency roadside assistanc

Bangalore, Aug 7 (UNI) After successful launch in Tamil Nadu and Kerala, the Oriental Insurance Co Ltd, one of the leading public sector Insurance Companies and MyTVS, the customer centric car service business division of TVS and Sons, today came together to launch 'Our Oriental-MyTVS Emergency Roadside Assistance' in Karnataka.

Former test cricketer Syed Kirmany launched the service. Under the Scheme MyTVS, which has been offering 24 hours emergency roadside assistance since 2003, will extend its service to the Oriental Insurance Policy holders free of cost.

The MyTVS's network is spread across 90 locations in Karnataka with 220 authorised service providers providing assistance for all cars.

The Oriental Insurance Co Ltd Chairman and Managing Director M Ramadoss said this facility will be launched very soon in Andhra Pradesh and in other parts of the country by the end of next month.

However, the Oriental Insurance was available only for private cars and passenger carrying cars, which were less than ten years old, he added.

TVS and Sons President (CCB) R Srivattchan, speaking on the occasion, said, ''now all motor policy holders of the Oriental Insurance have a friend they can turn to if their car gets stranded on the road''.
