MP: Land allotted for Reliance methane project
Bhopal, Aug 7: The Madhya Pradesh government has allotted 46 acre government land at village Lalpur in Shahdol district's Sohagpur tahsil for the Reliance Industries Limited's coal-bed methane project.
The state cabinet chaired by Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan yesterday approved the land allotment.
Official sources said the company had sought 417.57 hectare land at the village for its coal bed methane project's expansion work, particularly for its office, godown, industrial unit and residential accommodation.
Since only 47.47 hectare government land was available at the village, the Reliance was given 46 acre land, the sources added.
