Labour panchayat on August 19

Bhopal, Aug 7(UNI) Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has convened a ''Mahapanchayat'' of construction workers from across Madhya Pradesh here on August 19 for consultations to chalk out programmes aimed at their welfare.

Similar consultations were held with different sections of the society at the Chief Minister's official residence itself. The construction labour meet will be organised at the Scouts Jamboree Maidan, the venue where ''Kissan Mahapanchayat'' was held few months ago.

Bhopal Commissioner Dr Pukhraj Maroo reviewed the arrangements for the mahapanchayat at a high-level meeting here yesterday.
