Kolkatans experience sultry day

Kolkata, Aug 7 (UNI) Scorching heat along with high humidity has been continuing unabated in the city for the past few days.

Forecasting partly cloudy sky, the local Met office recorded the maximum temperature at 32.5 degrees Celsius, one degree above normal.

Minimum temperature was pegged at 27.7 degrees Celsius, two degrees above normal.

The Met officials predicted light drizzle or few spells of rain, with no significant change in the maximum and minimum temperature which would hover around 32 and 28 degrees Celsius respectively.
