JSW July crude steel output up 24 pct

New Delhi, Aug 7 (UNI) JSW Steel Ltd today said its crude steel production output in July has risen 24 per cent to 0.33 million tonnes.

Flat rolled steel output fell 10 per cent to 0.21 million tonnes as its hot strip mill was under stabilisation after its re-commissioning, the company said in a statement.

Long rolled steel production fell by 60 percent as company's Salem unit was shut for 17 days in the month for repairs, it added.
