JD(U) rubbishes RJD allegation on 'booth management' in Bihar
Patna, Aug 7 (UNI) The Bihar JD(U) today refuted the RJD's claim that the Nitish Kumar government was carrying out booth management in the guise of bureaucrats reshuffle to tone up the State administration.
In a statement issued here, JD(U)'s State unit chief spokesperson Vijay Kumar Chaudhary said it was ironic that the RJD was levelling such '' baseless allegations '' against the government, while the latter was winning accolades from all sections of the society for its good governance and clean admisistration.
''Such allegation flashes the lines of a famous Hindi film song--Choron Ko Sare Nazar Aate Hain Chor (A thief think others as he is)--in everybody's mind'' Mr Chaudhary observed, adding the State administration during the Lalu-Rabri regime was at its nadir and created a sense of insecurity among the people.
He also opined that ''booth capturing'' was the practice of the state administration during elections under Lalu-Rabri regime as RJD supremo Lalu Prasad used to claim that genie (jinn) would come out from the ballot box, indicating a surprise results contrary to the popular belief.
''All this was done under instructions from their political masters during the regime, to enable the RJD to continue in power through unfair means'', he added.
''Extremely oppressed section, minorities, extremely backward men and women have faith in the Nitish Kumar government that their hopes and dreams would be materialised during the NDA regime'', Mr Chaudhary felt and added that perturbed over such trend going in favour of Mr Kumar, the RJD was levelling such allegations.
