Bring terror organisations to book: Yechury
Indore, Aug 7: Communist Party of India (Marxist) Politburo Member Sitaram Yechury on Thursday, Aug 7 said that terrorist organisations should be brought to book irrespective of the religion their members professed.
The remark was made here after mediapersons sought his reaction to the Students' Islamic Movement of India(SIMI)-related comments of Samajwadi Party supremo and former Uttar Pradesh chief minister Mulayam Singh Yadav and Railway Minister and Rashtriya Janata Dal President Lalu Prasad. ''The country lost (Father of the Nation) Mahatma Gandhi, (the then prime minister) Indira Gandhi and (her son) Rajiv Gandhi to terrorists,'' Mr Yechury added.
