Blonde named Carla claims fling with Sarko

London, Aug 7 : A blonde named Carla has claimed that she had an affair with French President Nicolas Sarkozy while he was on an official visit.

Carla Barbato, 30, revealed that she fell head over heels in love with Sarko two years ago in Venice, Italy - when he was Interior Minister and married to first wife Cecilia.

"We had some intense, epic moments," The Sun quoted her, as saying.

"I fell in love, a romantic episode exploded. I would consider him to be the perfect lover.

"He is very sentimental but also very passionate. Out of ten I would give him the maximum," she added.

Earlier this year Sarkozy, 52, married model turned pop star Carla Bruni, 40, after a whirlwind romance which began just days after his divorce.
